Featuring a state-of-the-art 16-megapixel CMOS X-ray detector, the SKYSCAN 1272 CMOS Edition delivers high-contrast images with exceptional resolution. The extended detector field of view and heightened sensitivity for X-rays contribute to scan times that are up to twice as short.
The SKYSCAN 1272 CMOS introduces the innovative Genius-Mode, allowing for the automatic selection of parameters. With a single click, magnification, energy, filter, exposure time, and background corrections can be optimized automatically.
For enhanced efficiency, an optional 16-position sample changer is available, enabling unattended high throughput scanning.
The SKYSCAN 1272 CMOS is complemented by the 3D.SUITE, a comprehensive software package covering GPU-accelerated reconstruction, 2D/3D morphological analysis, as well as surface and volume rendering visualization. The SKYSCAN 2214 CMOS, a MULTISCALE X-ray microscope, stands out as a versatile instrument covering an extensive range of object sizes and spatial resolutions within a single device. This capability enables advanced 3D imaging and precise modeling of geological materials for applications such as oil and gas exploration, composite materials, Li batteries, fuel cells, electronic assemblies, and ex-vivo preclinical studies, including lung imaging and tumor vascularization.
This instrument facilitates the scanning and 3D non-destructive reconstruction of the internal microstructure of objects, accommodating sizes ranging from over 300mm in diameter to submicron resolution for small samples.
Equipped with an “open type” transmission X-ray source featuring a <0.5-micron spot size and a diamond window, the system can accommodate up to four X-ray detectors for maximum flexibility. The incorporation of automatic variable acquisition geometry and phase-contrast enhancement ensures the highest quality results within relatively short scanning times.
Complemented by the 3D.SUITE software, the SKYSCAN 2214 provides a comprehensive package covering GPU-accelerated reconstruction, 2D/3D morphological analysis, as well as surface and volume rendering visualization.
